The MITdesignX Dubai Venture Accelerator has welcomed its third cohort, continuing its mission of supporting founders tackling complex challenges in construction, health, the environment, and urban life. In partnership with Global Growth Hub, the programme embeds startups directly into the UAE ecosystem — providing access to customers, partners, and funding to turn ideas into real impact.

The three-month programme kicked off in October, guiding teams through four stages: from understanding the problem to launching their solution. Demo Day takes place in January 2026 in Dubai.

This year’s cohort features 11 startups from the UAE, Oman, Portugal, France, Finland, India, and South Korea:

Apollo Medica — A wearable sensor platform making physiotherapy precise and data-driven, replacing subjective manual assessments to prevent injuries and reduce costs.

Coulomb AI — A battery observability platform using digital twin technology to extend battery life, reduce failures by 30%, and cut energy costs by 30–40%.

Kartrix.AI — Safe, certifiable perception software for vehicles, drones, and infrastructure, combining mapping, localisation, and deep learning for sensor fusion.

Kwelio — A MENA healthtech startup combining clinically formulated supplements with a gamified app and smart dispenser system to improve medication adherence.

Medcol — A telemedicine platform facilitating remote medical consultations and digital healthcare access.


MycoSphere — A sustainability company harnessing fungi and mycology to create innovative mycelium solutions for the built environment.


Mismar.AI — AI-driven solutions for data analysis and decision-making across multiple industries.


Nashid — An identity infrastructure platform for construction, oil and gas, and industrial sectors, replacing paper credentials with secure digital records.


Sensible 4 — Full-stack, all-weather autonomous driving solutions, with a universal retrofit kit deployable across mining, construction, logistics, and defence.


B.E.Story — 100% natural, fully biodegradable bioenzyme-based products made from locally sourced raw materials.
